PEC provides a wide range of coin and banknote containers, that can be customized to fit specific denominations and dimensions.

Using standard containers all along the cash supply chain, from the print works to the docks of the cash-in-transit companies, makes the cash cycle both more efficient and secure.
Receiving lodgments in closed and sealed containers with a capacity up to 300 000 banknotes, using bar codes and electronic signatures reduces the resources needed on the receiving side.

Within the boundaries of the cash center, the containers are transported by Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV’s). These driverless vehicles use a laser system to navigate through the corridors, the processing rooms and the vault. Laser navigation does not require any floor guiding, which makes these system more flexible in case of workflow redesigns or layout changes.

The AGV’s are in continuous communication with PEC’s Cash Center Management System, which acts as a dispatch system to the different vehicles, prioritizing tasks, monitoring battery status, tracking task execution and location of each container….
