At our Leuven R&D department we are looking for a:

SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Main tasks:
- Mechanical design for various industrial and electronic devices
- Evaluating and choosing between different production methods
- Planning and execution of prototyping
- Co-ordinating with Electronic Engineering and Production
- Multiple, global contacts with providers and subcontractors
- On-site acceptance of parts and components

Skills needed:
We are looking for a highly motivated professional meeting the following requirements:
- Experience with several production technologies such as plastic/aluminium die-casting, extrusion and sheet-metal
- Knowledge of CAD systems and modelling tools
- Interest in exploring new technologies
- Master in Product Development, Industrial Engineer or similar by experience
- Willing to travel in Europe and Asia
- Commitment to result
