Cell Activation Lines for Hard-Case Prismatic Cells

PEC offers systems for large format hardcase prismatic cells. The assembled dry cells are delivered to our lines, to start the required activation and testing processes.

PEC provides all specific equipment for the handling and processing of the cells, including cell specific pallets. Together they form the Automated Cell Activation and Testing Line.
A typical line for large format prismatic cells contains the following modules or units:

• Pallet loading units
• Single Step Rapid Electrolyte Filling units
• Soaking cabinets
• Formation and grading towers
• Degassing and final sealing units
• Ageing (Room and High Temperature)
• Cell sorting units
• Final inspection and packaging
